Hospitality & Retail Systems (HRS), a global IT solutions provider and the world's largest official Oracle Hospitality partner and Ngân hàng TMCP Bản Việt (BVBank) have officially signed a partnership to bring a comprehensive payment and financial solution to Vietnam's hospitality sector. The agreement was formalized at a signing ceremony held at BVBank's headquarters in Ho Chi Minh City.
BVBank's payment solution connects directly into HRS's OPERA Cloud PMS and Simphony Cloud POS, linking operations, revenue management, and bank payments into one workflow. This lets hotels manage the entire guest transaction journey from booking, deposit, check-in, service use, payment, refunds, cancellations, settlement, pre-authorization holds, and final payment through a single connected system, supporting cards, QR codes, and online payment.
This solution has been successfully implemented by HRS & BVBank at WorldHotels Long Beach Resort Phu Quoc. BVBank is also continuing to collaborate with major hotel chains such as Marriott, M Village, and Flamingo, creating further opportunities for cooperation across both domestic and international hotel ecosystems.
"Over more than eight years in the Vietnamese market, HRS has witnessed the strong growth of both the country’s economy and its hospitality sector. Providing convenient payment solutions that integrate seamlessly with the systems hotels already use is therefore an important factor in supporting the continued development of the tourism and hospitality industry.
This is also the shared vision behind the cooperation between HRS and BVBank through HRS Pay. By combining the HRS Pay technology platform with BVBank’s reliable banking infrastructure, the two parties aim to create a seamless connection that enables their mutual customers to manage cash flow more simply, efficiently, and conveniently."said Joanne Vaughan, CEO, HRS

As digital transformation accelerates across the hotel industry, integrating direct payments into operating systems has become essential. Building on our partnership, HRS and BVBank continue to develop features like Pay by Link and online payment, working toward a complete payment ecosystem for the accommodation sector.
We're now expanding this collaboration further, bringing Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) and Cross-border Payment capabilities into the HRS Pay ecosystem to give international travelers a smoother, more transparent payment experience in Vietnam.
With DCC, guests can preview their transaction value and pay in their home currency at checkout — adding clarity and peace of mind to every stay. Our Cross-border Payment solution lets international guests pay directly from their home bank accounts, cutting down transaction time and simplifying the booking experience.
For our hotel partners, this means broader access to global travelers, stronger conversion rates, and increased revenue — all backed by a secure, internationally compliant payment infrastructure. It's a reflection of HRS's ongoing commitment to supporting the sustainable growth of Vietnam's tourism and hospitality industry.
This partnership is also a strong signal of trust in HRS as a technology partner: BVBank continues to invest in specialized, industry-specific financial solutions, and our collaboration lays the groundwork for future partnerships with major hotel chains across Vietnam and beyond.
