We are pleased to announce a new enhancement to TYNGO Staff Order that brings ordering and payment together on a single device.
HRS is now certified by FreedomPay to process payments on the Castles S1F4 all-in-one device with 4GB RAM. This enables hospitality teams to use TYNGO Staff Order for both taking orders and completing payments on the same device, removing the need for a separate ordering device and payment terminal.
The new single-device workflow is currently supported across Europe, the UK and the US.
For hospitality teams, this creates a simpler and more streamlined table-service experience. Staff can manage more of the guest journey from one device, helping reduce the amount of hardware they need to carry while making the transition from ordering to payment more seamless.
The new capability is designed to work within the Oracle MICROS Simphony environment. TYNGO Staff Order remains an extension of Simphony, helping hospitality businesses bring greater mobility to their existing operations without replacing their core POS platform.
With the FreedomPay integration, TYNGO Staff Order can trigger the payment process directly on the supported all-in-one device and return the completed transaction to Simphony as part of the service workflow.
