HRS Brings Local, Regulated Payments to Albanian Hotels: RPay Integration Now Live for OPERA Cloud and Simphony Cloud
For hoteliers in Albania, payment processing just got simpler, more compliant, and more flexible. HRS Hospitality & Retail Systems, a global leader in certified hospitality software, today announced the live integration of RPay (by POK) into its proprietary payment middleware, HRS Payment Gateway (HPG). The new capability enables direct credit card authorizations and settlements from Oracle OPERA Cloud and Simphony Cloud – without leaving the familiar PMS/POS workflows.
With RPay integrated via HPG, hotels gain access to a local payment service provider (PSP) that works with multiple local acquirers in the market – giving properties better coverage, faster onboarding, and improved acceptance rates.
The integration supports key operational scenarios that matter to hotels:
- Pay at Reception: native payments processed directly from OPERA Cloud or Simphony Cloud at the front desk, with full folio integration and automated posting.
- MOTO transactions via API: remote authorizations for virtual credit cards (VCC) and no‑show charges, enabling flexible billing and revenue protection without manual card entry.

RPay’s portfolio complements the hotel’s needs with virtual cards, SEPA accounts, payment‑by‑link, QR/scan‑to‑pay, SoftPOS, and other modern payment methods. Because the connection runs through HRS Payment Gateway, these capabilities are available within the same integration point and support framework that HRS clients already use.
The rollout begins immediately in Albania. Properties running OPERA Cloud or Simphony Cloud with HPG can activate the integration with their HRS account manager. Expansion to Kosovo and North Macedonia is under evaluation for potential rollout in 2027, subject to local regulatory approvals and technical readiness.
